Arrival in Rome
Welcome to Italy! Arrival in Rome and transfer to your hotel located in the historic center, within walking distance of the city’s main landmarks. Take the afternoon to explore the Eternal City at your own pace. In the evening, tour briefing and welcome dinner with your fellow riders.
Rome to Civitavecchia (via Bracciano & Volcanic Lakes Region)
The adventure begins! Leave the city and ride through the scenic countryside north of Rome, among rolling hills and volcanic lakes such as Bracciano and Vico. Enjoy smooth, curvy roads surrounded by forests and ancient villages. Arrive in Civitavecchia in the late afternoon for a relaxing seaside dinner before boarding the overnight ferry to Sardinia.
Olbia to Bari Sardo (Eastern Sardinia)
Early morning arrival in Olbia and the real riding begins on the legendary SS125 Orientale Sarda. This is one of Europe’s greatest motorcycle roads, with perfect tarmac, endless turns, and spectacular sea views. Stop at Capo Coda Cavallo for a stunning coastal panorama before continuing through Orosei, Dorgali, and Baunei to Bari Sardo on the eastern coast.
The Heart of Sardinia: Gennargentu Mountains & Orgosolo
Today is a true rider’s day. You’ll dive into the wild and mountainous interior of Sardinia, with an incredible sequence of twisty roads and flawless asphalt through the Gennargentu National Park. Ride from Bari Sardo to Oliena and Orgosolo — the famous village of murals — surrounded by rugged peaks and forests. After lunch in Orgosolo, continue through Mamoiada and Fonni: a perfect mix of technical and flowing turns that will make every rider smile. Return to Bari Sardo in the evening after an unforgettable day in the saddle.
From the Mountains to the Sea: Bari Sardo to Alghero
Another pure motorcycling day. Cross the island from east to west through Sardinia’s untouched Barbagia region, where traffic is almost nonexistent and the roads seem built for riders. The route through Seui, Aritzo, and Sorgono offers a rhythm of perfect corners, elevation changes, and panoramic views. In the afternoon, descend toward the coast and enjoy one of Italy’s most spectacular rides — the coastal road from Bosa to Alghero — a masterpiece of smooth tarmac, cliffs, and sea views. Evening at leisure in Alghero, the perfect place to relax after a day of incredible riding.
Northern Sardinia & Costa Smeralda
Follow the northern coastline from Alghero to Castelsardo, then continue to Santa Teresa di Gallura, where you can admire Corsica across the strait. Ride through Palau for panoramic views of the La Maddalena Archipelago, then continue along the glamorous Costa Smeralda with a stop in Porto Cervo before reaching Olbia for your overnight ferry to the mainland.
Tuscany: From Livorno to Rome
Morning arrival in Livorno and ride through the heart of Tuscany. Visit the beautiful medieval towns of Volterra and San Gimignano, then continue through the rolling landscapes of the UNESCO-listed Val d’Orcia — Pienza, Montalcino, and beyond. Lunch in the Tuscan hills before returning to Rome along the scenic Via Flaminia. Farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate an unforgettable journey.
