The Island of Endless Roads

Sardinia Dream Ride

Experience the breathtaking landscapes of Sardinia, from coastal roads with beautiful beaches to the suggestive and wild interior.

Who This Tour Is For

For riders who live for the road — and for those who want more than just the ride. The Sardinia Dream Ride is designed for motorcyclists who appreciate great roads, smooth asphalt, and endless curves — the kind that make every turn a thrill. Yet it’s equally perfect for those who want to balance the joy of riding with time to relax, swim, and explore the natural and cultural treasures of this extraordinary island.

Sardinia is a motorcyclist’s paradise, but it’s also a place of pristine beaches, turquoise waters, ancient Nuraghe towers, and charming seaside towns like Alghero. A perfect journey for couples or solo travelers who want to experience the best of both worlds — exciting rides through spectacular landscapes, and the laid-back pleasure of Mediterranean life at the end of the day.

The tour concludes with a taste of Tuscany, an entire full day of riding through the gentle hills and timeless countryside that makes this region world-famous — a fitting finale to an unforgettable motorcycle adventure.

Best Season

June and September

These months offer the very best of Sardinia — warm, sunny days (75–85°F / 24–29°C), crystal-clear waters, and roads that are a pure joy to ride. In June, the island is in full bloom, with long daylight hours and vibrant coastal life, yet still far from the summer crowds.

September brings a golden light and a relaxed atmosphere — the sea is at its warmest, and the island slows down, creating the perfect balance between exciting rides and end-of day swims.

Welcome to Italy! Arrival in Rome and transfer to your hotel located in the historic center, within walking distance of the city’s main landmarks. Take the afternoon to explore the Eternal City at your own pace. In the evening, tour briefing and welcome dinner with your fellow riders.

Day 2

Rome to Civitavecchia (via Bracciano & Volcanic Lakes Region)

The adventure begins! Leave the city and ride through the scenic countryside north of Rome, among rolling hills and volcanic lakes such as Bracciano and Vico. Enjoy smooth, curvy roads surrounded by forests and ancient villages. Arrive in Civitavecchia in the late afternoon for a relaxing seaside dinner before boarding the overnight ferry to Sardinia.

Day 3

Olbia to Bari Sardo (Eastern Sardinia)

Early morning arrival in Olbia and the real riding begins on the legendary SS125 Orientale Sarda. This is one of Europe’s greatest motorcycle roads, with perfect tarmac, endless turns, and spectacular sea views. Stop at Capo Coda Cavallo for a stunning coastal panorama before continuing through Orosei, Dorgali, and Baunei to Bari Sardo on the eastern coast.

After lunch in Orgosolo, continue through Mamoiada and Fonni: a perfect mix of technical and flowing turns that will make every rider smile. Return to Bari Sardo in the evening after an unforgettable day in the saddle.

Day 5

From the Mountains to the Sea: Bari Sardo to Alghero

Another pure motorcycling day. Cross the island from east to west through Sardinia’s untouched Barbagia region, where traffic is almost nonexistent and the roads seem built for riders. The route through Seui, Aritzo, and Sorgono offers a rhythm of perfect corners, elevation changes, and panoramic views. In the afternoon, descend toward the coast and enjoy one of Italy’s most spectacular rides — the coastal road from Bosa to Alghero — a masterpiece of smooth tarmac, cliffs, and sea views. Evening at leisure in Alghero, the perfect place to relax after a day of incredible riding.

Day 6

Northern Sardinia & Costa Smeralda

Follow the northern coastline from Alghero to Castelsardo, then continue to Santa Teresa di Gallura, where you can admire Corsica across the strait.
