A flexible tour plan designed to take you to the most exciting cities and sites in the surrounding region, with a new adventure every day, enjoying exciting rides on different routes, all while returning to the comfort of the same accommodation each night. Typically 1, 2 or 3 days.

Point-To-Point Exploratory Tour

This tour plan allows you to expand your trip into different regions, exploring a variety of landscapes, cultural sites and scenic routes, with each night spent in a different location. It can be fully customized to include specific cities or destinations you want to see, with the tour ending on the last day by returning to the starting city, but with the option to finish in a different city if desired. Typically 4, 5 or 6 days.

Why Ride with Us?

  • Choose the date of the tour freely, without any restrictions — at any time of the year!
  • Choose the duration of the tour: from 1 to 6 days!
  • Book a place from 6 months to 7 days in advance.

It is still possible to book a tour less than 7 days in advance 48 hours before the start of the tour: simply send an e-mail request to bookings@italymototours.com with all the details. You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours along with the instructions for purchasing the tour.

You can book an Anytime Smart Tour quickly and without problems. Just fill out the form below in the booking section, specifying all the necessary information, including:

  • Start date of the tour.
  • Number of days.
  • Departure city (Rome, Milan, Florence or Naples)*
  • Would you like to ride a premium motorcycle? (If so, check the box next to the option; see the list below)
  • Is this an off-road tour you’re planning? (Check the box next to the option only if this applies)
  • Choose a motorcycle to suit your taste (select one of the options listed below in the Premium or the Standard category, indicating your first choice and second option in the appropriate fields of the form).
  • Are you interested in a group tour with other riders ? (First, examine what is written under the ‘Group Tours’ section in the ‘Tour Details & Essentials’ at the bottom)
  • Any additional services that you would like to add (accommodation, equipment, helmet, etc.)

You will receive a confirmation of the tour within 48 hours, including the price and, if desired, booking instructions. Submitting the form is, of course, optional — you are free to decide for yourself whether to continue booking the tour or not.

* It is usually possible to book a tour that departs from other cities, but additional fees may apply.

Any reservation you have made can be cancelled without any penalty 30 days before the departure date: simply send an email to bookings@italymototours.com. The prepayment will be fully refunded without any exceptions or questions.

If the cancellation occurs between 29 and 5 days before departure, the deposit will be forfeited, and the customer will be entitled to a refund of the balance (the amount exceeding the deposit) only if it has already been paid.

If the cancellation occurs between 4 and 1 days before departure or in case of a no-show on the day of departure, no refund will be made.

Our tour operator will arrange the best tour for you, they will contact you no later than 7 days before the start of the tour (except for the last-minute tour, when you will be contacted as early as possible) so that:

  • Ask if there are any specific places or cities that you would like to visit to include them in your itinerary.
  • Ask if you have any preferences for the trip, such as a faster pace on more difficult roads or a more relaxed route with longer sightseeing breaks.
  • Plan the best route based on your expectations.
  • Provide useful information about how the tours go, how to prepare, and what to bring with you.
  • Specify the payment details for the remaining amount.
  • Confirm the time and place of receiving the motorcycles and the start of the tour.
  • Confirm the motorcycle model that you have selected as the first option, if possible (a bike of the same category is always guaranteed).
  • We will provide you with all the additional services that you have booked.
  • We will help you with any special requests you may have regarding the tour.

All of our guides, in addition to being certified riders, also have experience leading groups and have excellent knowledge of the areas we are going to explore during the tour.

They will make sure that you don’t have to worry about anything other than enjoying the thrill of horseback riding and the beauty of these places to the fullest, while ensuring the highest level of safety.

Our guides will also be happy to help you with any logistical or organizational issues that may arise during the tour, as well as be able to handle any emergencies.

Obviously, the sooner you book your tour, the higher the chances that we will be able to provide you with exactly the bike you want. As a rule, if the tour is booked in advance (at least a month in advance, and preferably 2 months in advance if the tour falls during high season), we have no problem providing the motorcycle you have chosen as the first option, and we do our best to meet the needs of the client.

However, it may happen, especially at the height of the season, that an exact model may not be available on tour days. For this reason, especially if the tour takes place during the high season (from May to October), we recommend booking it as soon as possible so that you can use the motorcycle that you prefer. As soon as we receive the prepayment, we will immediately reserve a motorcycle for you.

All motorcycles are the latest models, almost new and in excellent condition. As a rule, the price of a motorcycle includes a full set of saddlebags (side bags + top cover). However, some sport-touring or scrambler models only come with padded side bags. If you plan to travel with a passenger for more than 2/3 days, it is best to choose a comfortable touring bike with a full set of covers (side bags and an upper cover).

Group Tour

Colorful cliffside buildings and beach umbrellas in Atrani on the Amalfi Coast, Italy, with mountains and turquoise sea in view.
Motorcycle group tour in central Italy, five riders posing with their bikes overlooking rooftops and hills near Rome on a cloudy day.
Group of smiling motorcyclists on a scenic tour in the Italian Dolomites, with rugged peaks and wildflowers in the background.

Groups of motorcyclists who want to go on the same tour together are welcome and receive significant discounts according to the following scale:

  • 2 motorcyclists (solo riders or with a passenger) = 25% discount from the price
  • 3 motorcyclists (solo riders or with a passenger) = 35% discount from the price
  • 4 motorcyclists (solo riders or with a passenger) = 45% discount from the price
  • 5 motorcyclists (solo riders or with a passenger) = 50% discount from the price

When someone books a tour and thinks they can attract fellow riders to it, or when a group of riders decides to book a tour together from the very beginning, they should check the “Group tour option” box on the booking form. This will indicate to our tour operator that this is a group tour with more than one rider.

Off-Road Tour

Four riders on Fantic 250 bikes race through Siena’s dusty hills at golden hour, in full gear, with fields and cypress trees behind.

Experience the thrill of enduro riding!

If you’ve never ridden off-road, you’re missing out on one of the most exhilarating motorcycle experiences. Imagine crossing streams, fording small rivers, and enjoying the beauty of riding through forests. Our off-road tours offer the ultimate adventure, where every turn and obstacle is a new thrill.

At our off-road riding school, we specialize in training riders who have never ridden off-road before, regardless of their street riding skills. Off-road riding requires a different technique, and our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, helping you master the fundamental skills to confidently ride on any terrain.

For those who have never ridden off-road, we recommend booking a minimum of 2 or, preferably, 3 days. For those who have enduro experience but have never ridden in Italy, we offer amazing places in the heart of nature where you can enjoy multi-day tours, each day on a different and exciting route.

Explore Nature Off the Beaten Path

Our off-road tours take place in three different locations:

Enduro rider on a Fantic Motor 310 4T bike climbs a dusty trail in the Tolfa mountains north of Rome, with scenic hills in the back.

North of Rome

A vast area north of Rome, just 45 minutes by car or train from the city centre, this area stretches from the northern coast to the interior Tolfa Mountains, offering stunning scenery and varied landscapes.

Enduro rider on a GasGas bike kicking up dirt on a rainy trail in the scenic hills of Siena, Italy, with lush green Tuscan landscape.

Hills of Siena

The rolling hills of Siena, with the beautiful, typical Tuscan landscapes and the nearby medieval city of Siena, which is a must-visit.

POV of riding a GasGas bike on a rocky trail near Lake Garda, with vibrant red accents popping against a desaturated mountain backdrop

Southwest of Lake Garda

The area southwest of Lake Garda, featuring wide open spaces and the proximity of one of the most picturesque lakes in the world.

For our off-road tours and training, we provide light, specialized enduro bikes: GasGas 250/350 4T or GasGas 300 2T (for the Siena and Lake Garda regions), and for the northern Rome regions, we offer Fantic Motor 250/310 or 450, all 4-stroke.

booking

In both cases mentioned above (booking a tour with departure from other cities or ending the tour in a city other than the departure city), please fill out the form in either case, indicating the city from which you would like to depart, and also send an email to bookings@italymototours.com with all the details. You will receive a confirmation within 48 hours, along with the price and instructions for purchasing the tour.

² Please note that the off-road tour is only available in 3 locations in Italy: north of Rome, in the hills of Siena in Tuscany and in the area southwest of Lake Garda. If you have checked this box, please indicate your first and second choice only from the enduro bikes listed in the “Enduro category bikes” section (see the Off-road Tour section).

* Tours are usually priced in Euros and of course it is always possible to pay by credit card in another currency (although your card provider may charge a currency conversion fee). However, if you prefer to pay directly in US Dollars, you can do so by emailing us with all the details at bookings@italymototours.com (instead of booking through the system). We will provide you with the current price in US Dollars along with the payment details.

³ The Limited availability models are not available in all locations. You can select them as your first choice, but in this case, make sure that the second choice is not a limited availability bike.

Tour Details & Essentials

Accommodation

You can choose to have us arrange accommodation for you during the tour (not mandatory for 1-day tours, of course). If you choose this, please add it as an extra service. Accommodation will be included in the price you pay and we will offer you a 3-star or higher hotel with breakfast included.

However, if you prefer to arrange your own accommodation (or if you want more economical or more upscale options), that is absolutely fine. In this case, please do not select this service from the extra list. Your tour manager will contact you in advance (at least a week before the tour start date) and provide you with an itinerary, including the cities where we will be stopping for the night on each day of the tour, so that you can make your own arrangements and book your preferred accommodation.

GROUP TOUR

One week before departure, your fellow motorcyclists can still join your tour. The discount will be applied to the remaining balance for payment depending on the number of participants who have paid a deposit by this deadline. The discount will be applied to each participant.
Whenever a new participant joins the same tour, our tour manager will notify all already registered participants.

The group tour will be closed one week before the start date (no further registrations will be accepted after this deadline). The tour manager will contact all participants, inform them of the final number of participants and the remaining amount to be paid, adjusted according to the mentioned discount scale.

In our group tours we do not accept groups of more than 5 participants. For the tour to be considered a group tour and for the discounts to be valid, nothing can be changed in the original tour booked by the first participant. It must remain the same for all participants, who must enter exactly the same details (start date, duration, departure city) during the booking, only having the possibility to choose different motorcycles and additional services. The tour manager will check the exact match for all participants before confirming it as a group tour.

Under no circumstances can the fact that additional motorcycle friends will not join your tour be grounds for cancellation or refund. However, you still have the right to cancel your tour by our cancellation policy, which remains in effect.
