Itinerary
Arrival at the selected hotel, departure point of the tour, and accommodation in your room; late afternoon meeting in the hotel lobby with our guide for a briefing where we will give you all useful information about the tour, as well as answer your questions.
Then all together at the restaurant, to allow us to get to know each other and taste traditional Roman cuisine.
with our motorcycles, we will leave Rome for Naples, but without taking the boring highway, rather a scenic motorcycle itinerary, focusing on the picturesque road, taking the route along the coast through Terracina, a coastal town with ancient ruins, and the charming Gaeta. We will arrive in Naples late afternoon, in time to enjoy a dinner of typical Neapolitan cuisine and a view of Naples at night.
We will devote the morning to visiting the historic center of Naples, including Piazza del Plebiscito with the fascinating Royal Palace.
After enjoying the best espresso and Neapolitan pastries at the historic CaffeGambrinus, founded in 1860 we will visit the waterfront of Naples (lungomare Caracciolo) with the amazing Castel dell Ovo, with view of the city and Vulcan Vesuvius.
In the afternoon from the port we will embark our motorcycles on the ferry and after about 1 and half hour crossing, we will disembark in the town of Ischia Porto, where we have the possibility to visit the Aragonese Castle (Castello Aragonese). originally built in 474 BC.
With our motorcycles we will begin the tour of the entire island through a very scenic route, riding to Sant’Angelo, a wonderful picturesque village where we can explore the charming streets and harbor on foot. Then we will continue to Giardini Poseidon Terme, the best and biggest thermal complex on the island (Ischia Island is very famous for its amazing natural thermal spa), enjoying some time there.
We`ll then complete the exciting perimeter of the island until returning in the late afternoon to our hotel, ending with a memorable dinner in the best tradition of local cuisine.
Returned to the port of Pozzuoli from there we will travel to the nearby Capo Miseno, a scenic cape offering stunning views of the Gulf of Naples, an ideal spot for a quick photo stop, and Baia with its archeological park built during the Roman era.
We will then head to Sorrento along the south coast through scenic roads passing picturesque towns like Vico Equense and Meta.
Arriving late afternoon to Sorrento we can visit this wonderful city not missing to taste the original Limoncello, the town’s iconic lemon liqueur.
Traveling along a picturesque road the first stop of the day will be the beautiful village of Positano, a postcard-perfect village where to take some pictures; we will continue along the coast to Amalfi, an absolutely essential stop, with its wonderful 10th-century cathedral (duomo di Amalfi).
From there, a charming path will ascend to the town of Ravello, a real jewel; Then we`ll do the whole route along the sea, completing the Amalfi coast to Vietri sul mare.
The morning of the seventh day from Sorrento we will return to Rome, taking a different route that is no less interesting than the outward journey, where we can still enjoy roads that are fun to drive and beautiful places to see.
